12. (Story) Doing New thing is always difficult at first !
Before flying, all birds were having a capacity to walk only as like human. Day by day Birds wanted to fly freely in the sky. Also they wanted to see all the wonders in the world from the sky as well as to fly any where as they wish. So that they had approached a powerful sage and explained their wish.
Sage promised to give flying capacity for presently walking of birds. He attached two wings in their two sides and said to them " Now you oscillate both wings powerfully and flying miracle will happen and you will fly freely in the sky."
Birds tried to fly with the help of attached wings. At last, all their strength had exhausted but unable to fly. They seemed that the attached wings were a big burden to them. They went back to the sage: "we don't want to fly, remove the wings and we wish to walk as usual," they complained.
But sage asked to them " Your goal to fly is appreciated one. It can be achieved by you only . Try it with your full involvement and definitely it will be fulfilled your desire," he told them.
They tried again and again. At the end, their desire had fulfilled. Yes! they could able to fly.
They replied "Sage ! as you said , we had tried again and again to fly. As as result, we had succeeded. Initially the attached wings were seem to be a burden for us. But afterwards it would become very easy and we were enjoying its benefit" Said.
Sage: "See! from this you must understand that if you try for any new things, at first it will be very difficult. But after some times it will give very much happy to you. So don't give up at any time." said to them.

12. புதிய முயற்சி என்றுமே முதலில் கடினம் தான்.
பறவைகள் பறப்பதற்கு பலம் கிடைப்பதற்கு முன்னால் எல்லாம் போல அவைகள் நடக்கத் தான் செய்தது. நாளாக நாளாக அதற்கு வானத்தில் சுதந்திரமாக பறக்கவேண்டும்! உலகில் உள்ள எல்லா அதிசயங்களை பார்க்கவேண்டும்! நினைக்கின்ற போது போக வேண்டுமென்ற இடத்திற்குச் செல்லவேண்டும் என்று நினைத்து சக்தி வாய்ந்த ஒரு முனிவரிடத்தில் சென்றது.
முனிவரும் அதைக் கேட்டு நடக்கின்ற பறவைகளுக்கு இரண்டு பக்கத்தில் இறக்கையினை ஒட்டிவிட்டு "இந்த இறக்கைகளை பலமாக அசையுங்கள். நீங்கள் சுதந்திரமாக பறக்கும் அதிசயம் நடக்கும் " என்று கூறிவிட்டுச் சென்றார்.
பறவைகளும் இறக்கைகளை அசைத்துப் பறக்கப் பார்த்தது. ஆனால் பறக்க முடியாமல் கடைசியில் சோர்வடைந்தது. இறக்கைகள் அவைகளுக்கு பாரமாகத் தெரிந்தது. மீண்டும் முனிவரிடம் சென்று "எங்களுடைய இறக்கைகளை எடுத்துவிட்டு பழையபடி நடக்கும்படி செய்துவிடுங்கள்" என்று முறையிட்டது.
ஆனால் முனிவரோ " பறப்பது என்பது உங்களது பெரிய லட்சியம். அது உங்களால் மட்டுமே முடியும். மனம் தளராமல் முயற்சி செய்யுங்கள். கட்டாயம் உங்கள் ஆசை நிறைவேறும்" என்று கூறிவிட்டுச் சென்றார்.
மீண்டும் மீண்டும் முயற்சி செய்தது. முடிவில் ஆசை நிறைவேறியது.
பறந்தே முனிவரை பார்த்தது. "முனிவரே! நீங்கள் சொன்னபடி விடாமுயற்சி கொண்டோம். முடிவில் வெற்றி பெற்றோம். பாரமாக இருந்த இறக்கைகள் இப்போது பழகிவிட்டது. மேலும் அதன் பலனையும் அனுபவிக்கிறோம்." என்றது.
முனிவர் " பார்த்தீர்களா! புதிய முயற்சி செய்யும்போது புதிய சேர்க்கைகள் (மாற்றங்கள்) முதலில் பாரமாக அல்லது கஷ்டமாகத் தான் இருக்கும். ஆனால் போக போக அது சந்தோசமாக மாறும்" என்றார்.
வாழ்கையின் வெற்றிப்படிகள் இன்னும் உயரும்.
